These photos were taken at Tacoma, Colorado in August and September of 1999.

These two photos were taken from the Alamosa.

These photos were taken while riding the Galloping Goose. We were waiting at Tacoma for two trains to pass. One stopped to set out a box car of wood that was intended for fuel for the Eureka . It was the first set-out or pick-up at Tacoma since March 1999.

Since the battery in my camcorder died, I took several still shots of the switching action.

The man sitting in the photo is Wayne Brown. He was the driving force in restoring Galloping Goose #5 to operation. He also was the goose driver this day.

I was also on the ground at Tacoma when the Eureka stopped for D&SNG regular trains. I walked up to a line of derelict cars and took photos of 04442, an old camp car.
