How to build new narrow gauge passenger trucks.
These photos were taken about 1995 in Durango, Colorado in the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge car shops. These are built using similar practices to those used to build the D&RGW trucks under the D&SNG's former D&RGW passenger cars from the 1880's and 1890's.

Note the "D&S NGRR" on the casting in the photo
on the right. The D&SNG apparently has had to have new patterns made that are similar to the original D&RGW
items .

I believe that this was
was a body bolster for the passenger trucks.
I believe that this is
an original D&RGW passenger truck. Note that the shape of the casting for the wheel sets is much more curved
than the ones in the above photos that had D&SNG RR on them.
