Underframe photos
These photos were taken in 1992 in Chama, New Mexico. These car bodies were in a field near the end of the Chama wye. There were three frames in the field (as I recall). These photos show some details of the underbody construction. Due to the way the queen posts ends are cut and the way the truss rods burrow through another timber, I suspect that these are drop bottom gon frames.
